Assist in evaluation and propose corporate funding (debt/equity) proposals that are in line with the Group's requirement and corporate strategy.
Assist in formulating and conceptualizing corporate schemes, covering investment appraisals, feasibility evaluation, negotiation on best terms & structure and implementation. Ability to highlight and resolve issues relating to the proposals as well as to provide solutions and recommendations. Co-ordinate with other internal departments and external consultants on the scheme, documentation and/or submission of corporate exercises.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory authorities and regulations related to corporate exercises and proposals, including the preparation of board papers, circulars and announcements to Bursa Malaysia.
Evaluate and propose funding structure that in-line to the Group's capital structure and to manage funding cost.
Understanding on foreign exchange, interest swap and hedging products. Managing the Group's financial risks.
Ability to build good relationships and rapport with financial institutions, investment banks and other financial service providers
Ability to manage various ad hoc projects concurrently.
Requirement:
Degree in Accounting/Finance
Minimum 4-5 years experience in audit, tax, investment planning, financial analysis, investment banking with a financial institution or large corporate
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse data, identify trends and make investment recommendations.
Familiar with risk management and hedging techniques. Experience in cash management systems
Good knowledge of policies, guidelines and requirements of Bank Negara Malaysia, Bursa Malaysia, SC, FIC, Companies Acts and Companies Commission of Malaysia
Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
