Key responsibilities in your new role
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of test engineers.
- Drive technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Manage resource planning and project prioritization across multiple product developments.
- Build capabilities in advanced test methodologies, data analytics, automation, and AI-assisted engineering.
- Own test development strategy from silicon bring-up through production release.
- Oversee wafer sort and final test program development (Including product characterization and qualification).
- Partner with Design, Product Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure production readiness.
- Ensure robust test coverage, manufacturability, and product quality before release.
- Deliver products on schedule while meeting:
- Time-to-market targets
- Yield objectives
- Test time and cost goals
- Product quality requirements
- Drive continuous improvement in test efficiency, coverage, and engineering productivity.
- Manage technical risks and escalation paths impacting product release milestones.
- Lead adoption of AI-assisted and data-driven engineering practices within the team.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve:
- Test development efficiency
- Debug and root-cause investigations
- Engineering documentation and reporting
- Drive measurable productivity gains through AI-enabled workflows and digitalization initiatives.
- Foster a culture of AI-augmented engineering across the organization.
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- Minimum 5-10 years of semiconductor industry experience.
- Strong experience in:
- SoC Test Development
- Product Qualification
- Silicon Characterization
- Production Release / NPI
- Minimum 3 years of leadership, project management, or people management experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- SoC architectures
- Wafer sort and final test development
- ATE platforms
- Yield analysis and optimization
- Test methodologies and qualification processes
- Statistical analysis and engineering problem solving
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Experience driving digital transformation, automation, or engineering productivity initiatives.
- Understanding of how AI, data analytics, and automation can enhance engineering effectiveness.
- Ability to lead organizational adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices.
