Job Description

Overview:

The Manager will oversee and take lead on social compliance audit and related activities from the preparation phase to the post-audit phase. The Manager will also be the point person; liaising with various stakeholders across the relevant departments, in addition to being the Project Manager overseeing any action that needs to be completed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Sales & Marketing department on audit request by customers/ external auditors.
  • Liaise with multiple stakeholders in keeping them up to date on social audit scope and schedule.
  • Complete pre-assessment questionnaire and obtain Management approval before submitting to Sales & Marketing personnel for customer/ external auditor review.
  • Acknowledge and examine the Code of Conduct (COC) provided by the customer / external auditor and obtain Management approval before submit to Sales and Marketing personal for customer/ auditor review.
  • Ensure that Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is completed by the Auditor and obtain Management approval prior to audit commencement.
  • Follow-up with the respective departments in ensuring Corrective Action & Preventive Action (CAPA) is taken before the deadline set by the customer / auditor.
  • Complete and maintain Certification membership and to process the annual renewal ig. Sedex, WRAP etc.
  • Process related payment of audit fees, membership etc.
  • Conduct internal audit for all respective department or sections to ensure we follows the audit requirements and stipulates standards.
  • Other related Social Audit and / or Compliance matters that are assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in law, finance, business administration or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of working experience in social compliance audit exercises.
  • Experience in the management of foreign workers.
  • Experience in continuous improvement projects to embed ESG (environmental and social pillars) into policies and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations in Labor Standards and Human Rights.
  • Strong understanding of risk in implementation and practices against compliances.
