The Manager, Talent Management is responsible for building and driving Feruni's integrated Talent Operating System covering Performance Management, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), Learning & Development (L&D), Succession, and Leadership Capability.

This role ensures that Feruni's leaders are equipped to develop their people, uphold performance standards, and build the capabilities required for current and future business success. The role partners closely with HODs, Managers and acts as an internal consultant, and safeguards the quality, consistency, and discipline of all talent processes.

Your Role at Feruni:

Performance Management & Calibration Governance

  • Lead the annual and mid-year Performance Management cycles end-to-end.
  • Drive calibration governance to ensure fairness, evidence-based decisions, and alignment to Feruni standards.
  • Build leader capability on giving feedback, setting performance standards, and managing underperformance.

Individual Development Plans (IDPs) & Capability Building

  • Establish an IDP framework that is skills-based, measurable, and aligned to business needs.
  • Ensure each HOD embeds IDP follow-through within their team rhythms.
  • Facilitate quarterly reviews with HODs to track development progress and address barriers.

Learning & Development (L&D) From Training to Capability

  • Translate capability gaps into targeted L&D programs (classroom, coaching, on-the-job, projects).
  • Evaluate L&D effectiveness using clear metrics and business-aligned outcomes.
  • Work with HODs to ensure training translates to behavior and performance improvement.

Succession Planning & Talent Review

  • Own the succession framework for critical roles; ensure readiness pipelines.
  • Conduct annual and quarterly Talent Reviews with HODs and Managers.
  • Maintain updated successor profiles, readiness timelines, and development moves.

Leadership Development & Culture Anchoring

  • Strengthen leadership capability through targeted interventions, coaching, and structured programs.
  • Embed Feruni's values and leadership expectations into all talent processes.
  • Develop leader toolkits (feedback scripts, coaching frameworks, calibration prep guides).

Talent Analytics, Governance & Reporting

  • Develop Talent Scorecards and dashboards for PM, IDPs, L&D impact, succession, and leadership behaviors.
  • Track adoption, measure quality, and escalate talent risks proactively.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to CPO and CEO for decision-making.

Technical Competencies

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Psychology, Business, or related fields.
  • 5 to 7 years experience in Talent Management, L&D, OD, or Performance Management.
  • Prior experience influencing managers and senior leaders is essential.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growing business environment preferred.
  • Prior involvement in transformation and change management processes, open to change and able to lead change.
  • Experience with HR digitalization & HRIS implementation initiatives would be an added advantage.
  • This role will be based in Feruni's HQ office located in Petaling Jaya.
