Position Purpose

The Manager, Technology Architecture is responsible for defining and governing the technology architecture for the trading ecosystem, ensuring that all platforms, systems, and integrations align with enterprise architecture standards and support the evolving needs of the trading business.

This role leads the development of domain-specific IT architecture for trading systems, covering system architecture, integration architecture, data flow orchestration, and

infrastructure design for trading platforms. The role ensures that technology solutions are scalable, resilient, and optimized for high-performance trading operations.

The position also drives technology innovation and architectural evolution, evaluating emerging technologies, conducting proof-of-concepts, and supporting strategic investment decisions for future trading platforms and digital capabilities.

Job Responsibility

Define and maintain the technology architecture for the trading domain, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture principles and corporate digital strategy

Develop architecture blueprints and reference models for trading platforms, systems, and infrastructure

Ensure architecture supports scalability, resilience, and high performance required for trading operations

Own and govern trading integration architecture, ensuring seamless connectivity between niche trading systems and enterprise platforms

Design and manage data flow orchestration, inter-system integrations, and dependency management across trading applications

Evaluate vendor technology solutions supporting trading platforms and digital capabilities

Conduct build vs buy assessments for technology solutions aligned with business needs

Perform total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis for technology investments

Collaborate with solution architects, platform engineers, and development teams to ensure optimal system design

Define technical architecture specifications and standards for trading platforms

Ensure compliance with Group Enterprise Architecture standards and governance frameworks

Qualification- Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology Management Is preferred

1013 years of experience in technology architecture, solution architecture, or platform engineering roles

Experience designing architecture for complex enterprise systems or trading platforms

Experience working with cross-functional technology teams and enterprise architecture functions

Experience in energy trading, commodities trading, financial markets, or high-performance technology environments preferred

Technical & Functional Skills

Strong expertise in enterprise and solution architecture design principles

Experience designing system integration architecture and data flow orchestration

Knowledge of high-performance infrastructure and low-latency system architecture

Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and real-time data processing

Ability to balance strategic architecture planning with practical implementation considerations
