Job Description

Job Purpose

To manage and support the Bank's rewards function, including compensation management, benefits, annual salary review, bonus exercise, market benchmarking, rewards analytics and rewards governance. The role supports the Head, Strategy & Rewards in ensuring that the Bank's rewards practices are competitive, fair, cost-effective, properly governed and aligned with the Bank's business strategy, people strategy and approved budget.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation & Rewards

  • Manage salary fitment for new hires, promotions, transfers and internal movements.
  • Prepare salary and compensation analysis for Management review.
  • Review of salary ranges, pay positioning and rewards practices.
  • Ensure compensation recommendations are fair, consistent and within approved guidelines.

Salary Review & Bonus

  • Manage the annual salary review, increment and bonus exercise.
  • Prepare increment and bonus analysis for approval.
  • Ensure approved rewards decisions are properly documented and implemented.

Market Benchmarking & Reporting

  • Participate in salary surveys and market benchmarking.
  • Analyse market data on compensation and benefits.
  • Prepare rewards reports, dashboards and Management papers.
  • Provide insights on salary cost, bonus cost, benefits cost and people cost trends.

Rewards Governance

  • Ensure rewards processes comply with internal policies, approval authority and audit requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation for salary, bonus and benefits decisions.
  • Reviewing policy and process improvement for rewards matters.
  • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of rewards-related data.

Stakeholder Support

  • Provide rewards advisory to HRBPs and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with HR Operations, Finance, OD, Performance and business divisions.
  • Support Management queries on compensation, benefits, bonus and rewards matters.
  • Escalate key issues or exceptions to Head, Strategy & Rewards.

Threshold Qualifications

Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Finance or related field.

Years & Nature of Experience

  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of HR experience, preferably in rewards, compensation, benefits or HR operations.
  • Good knowledge of salary review, bonus, compensation and benefits practices.
  • Strong analytical skills and good Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and able to handle confidential information.
