Overview

The Manager is responsible for driving system enhancements and ensuring regulatory compliance through precise data management and project leadership. This role serves as a key technical liaison, managing enhancements for AS400 and Loan Origination Systems (LOS) while ensuring all reporting aligns with Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) requirements. The successful candidate will safeguard data integrity, support Credit Administration operations, and lead the transformation of business requirements into robust system solutions to minimize operational risk.

The successful candidates will report to the Head of Wholesale Credit Operations.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Functional

• Lead the initiation and monitoring of system enhancements and patching for AS400 and LOS, ensuring projects are completed within stipulated timelines.

• Collaborate with Business Units and IT (BITS) to draft User Requirement Specifications (URS) and IT Request Forms, performing detailed requirement studies and data mapping.

• Plan and execute rigorous User Acceptance Tests (UAT) to ensure system deployments are defect-free and meet business objectives.

• Act as the subject matter expert for Wholesale Credit Operations (WCO) and Regional Offices, providing guidance on system maintenance and troubleshooting complex system issues.

• Monitor the team data integrity consistently to safeguard the bank against operational inaccuracies and potential credit risk and provide technical solutions to Loan Centers to maintain high standards of system governance.

Jobholder Requirements

• Malaysian citizen.

Education/Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Professional certification in Project Management is highly preferred.

Experience/Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in Project Management and Systems Analysis within the banking sector, specifically in Wholesale Credit Operations.

• Hands-on technical experience with AS400 (HOINQMENU5 & BRGLINQ1) and Loan Origination Systems (LOS).

• Strong understanding of BNM reporting requirements and credit compliance standards.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
