We are seeking a Managing Director in the CNC Machining industry to oversee the strategic and operational performance of machining operations within multiple facilities in Singapore & Malaysia. This role is essential for driving efficiency, quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainable growth across the division.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the machining operations in various locations, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and delivery goals.
- Promote consistency and share best practices among facilities.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to meet long-term business objectives.
- Support growth initiatives and capacity expansion opportunities.
- Oversee machining processes and implement methodologies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Drive continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Maintain effective quality management systems.
- Monitor the division's financial performance and manage budgets
- Track key operational metrics.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to support operational improvements.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Develop high-performing teams and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years in manufacturing with senior leadership experience in machining operations.
- Proven ability in managing multiple sites.
- A solid background in CNC machining, precision engineering, aerospace, semiconductor, or industrial equipment production.
