Managing Director

Main Role:

• Lead all manufacturing operations with focus on quality, efficiency, safety, cost control, and delivery performance in precision/aerospace manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership - Align production with business goals, drive KPIs (productivity, OEE, delivery, cost reduction)
• Process Excellence - Oversee machining, sheet metal, surface finishing, and assembly; lead continuous improvement and automation
• Quality & Compliance - Ensure AS9100/ISO9001 standards, implement defect prevention, represent production in audits
• Team Development - Build high-performing teams, strengthen middle management, foster continuous improvement culture
• Cost Management - Manage budgets, optimize capacity and resources, oversee vendor relationships
• Safety & Facilities - Promote EHS compliance, maintain 5S and world-class manufacturing standards
• Ideal Candidate: Technically strong, hands-on leader with deep expertise in precision manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

• Experience: 12+ years in manufacturing, including 5+ years in senior production management
• Languages: English, Mandarin, and Malay proficiency required
• Technical Skills: Expertise in machining, sheet metal fabrication, surface finishing, and assembly
• Industry Background: Aerospace or precision components experience preferred (high-mix, low-volume manufacturing)
• Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality tools (OEE, SPC, 8D, PFMEA)
• Leadership: Excellent strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and multicultural team management abilities
