Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Mandarin OPI/VRI Interpreter. The interpreter will be responsible for providing Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) services. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting conversations between Mandarin and English speakers in various settings such as medical, legal, and customer service. The interpreter will ensure accurate and confidential translation, adhering to set guidelines and standards.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages
• Experience in Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to convey meaning accurately
• High level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Capability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficiency with virtual communication tools and technology
• Previous experience in medical, legal, or customer service interpretation is a plus
