Manual Test Engineer

Description

We are seeking a Manual Test Engineer to join our team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through effective manual testing practices. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software that meets customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases based on system requirements and user stories.
• Identify, document, and track defects using a defect tracking tool.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand the application and ensure quality standards.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that existing functionality is not broken by new releases or changes.
• Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions.
• Provide detailed reports on test execution, defects, and overall product quality.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
• Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and test plans.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
