Manual Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts.
• Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using JIRA or similar defect management tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Prepare test summary reports and provide quality metrics.
• Perform regression testing before production releases.
• Support production validation and post-release verification when required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer / Software Tester.
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile methodology.
• Experience using JIRA for defect tracking and test management.
• Experience in SIT and UAT testing.
• Strong knowledge of test case design techniques.
• Good understanding of functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
