Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage new product development projects, ensuring timely delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Prepare Design for Manufacturing (DFM) to ensure product designs are optimized for production.
• Ensure engineering activities align with Time to Market (TTM) targets.
• Provide timely Request for Quotation (RFQ) inputs to the Sales team.
• Support production by minimizing mould downtime and improving process yield.
• Coordinate tooling activities including jig, fixture, die and mould repair or fabrication with the Tool Room, ensuring timelines are met.
• Assist in troubleshooting tooling issues when required.
• Ensure compliance and full implementation of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Participate and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen).
• Support any other assignments or projects as directed by superior.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 45 years of experience in a similar role within the injection molding industry.
• Familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 standards.
• Knowledge in injection molding process & 3D software will be an advantage.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understands customer requirements and is committed to delivering quality outcomes.
• Capable of meeting deadlines and adapting to dynamic project needs.
