Ansell is looking for an Specialist, Manufacturing Ops (WIP) to be based in Ayer Keroh, Melaka.
This position is responsible to support inventory control and work-in-progress (WIP) management within our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate glove inventory, efficient stock movement, warehouse operations, and availability of materials to support production and packing requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with Production, Quality Assurance (QA), Technical, and Warehouse teams to maintain inventory accuracy, optimize stock utilization, and ensure smooth operational flow throughout the manufacturing process

What Will Your Role Be
1)Inventory & WIP Management
- Manage work-in-progress (WIP) and finished glove inventory to ensure sufficient stock availability for packing and operational requirements.
- Monitor and control glove movement across production, warehouse, and packing areas.
- Conduct regular inventory reviews to identify shortages, excess stock, and obsolete inventory.
- Ensure inventory records are accurate and updated in the system.
2)Warehouse & Stock Control
- Oversee inbound, outbound, and internal stock transfers within the manufacturing facility.
- Coordinate monthly stock counts and cycle count activities.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, stock mismatches, and variances.
- Maintain warehouse organization and inventory arrangement to maximize efficiency and accessibility.
3)Quality & Defect Management
- Coordinate the handling of defective gloves through rework, matching, segregation, or disposal processes.
- Work closely with QA and Technical teams to address quality-related inventory issues.
- Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory and stock management.
4)Operational Support & Continuous Improvement
- Identify alternative stock utilization opportunities to optimize inventory availability.
- Support process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
- Promote and maintain good housekeeping practices and 5S standards within the warehouse and storage areas.
- Prepare inventory and operational reports for management review.
What Will You Bring
- Experience in warehouse, inventory, storekeeping, manufacturing operations, or supply chain management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Good computer skills and experience using ERP or warehouse management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
