As axa0Manufacturing Quality Engineer (MQA) for Stamping & Plating, your primary purpose is toxa0develop and manage stamping and plating quality issuesxa0by driving effective problem solving, improving internal processes, and ensuring strong customer responsiveness and product quality performance.

You will join thexa0Consumer & Commercial Solution u2013 QAxa0organization in Malaysia, partnering withxa0all levels in the plant and other Molex entitiesxa0to resolve quality topics and strengthen processes. You will also work withxa0external counterpartsxa0to support customer quality needs and expectations.

What You Will Do

• Analyze product failures toxa0define corrective and preventive actionsxa0and respond effectively to customer complaints.
• Communicate with customers in a timely manner by providingxa0data summaries, customer updates, and corrective action reports.
• Coordinate with Quality personnel and cross-functional departments toxa0discuss and resolve product quality issuesxa0raised by customers.
• Participate in product quality planning and control processes based onxa0customer specifications and requirementsxa0initiated by customer quality issues.
• Inform the quality management team regardingxa0customer feedback and expectationsxa0on product quality.
• Prepare and update all necessaryxa0quality reports and proceduresxa0as required by customers and internal procedures.
• Train and guide the quality team inxa0identifying and developing problem-solving methodologiesxa0to resolve customer quality issues.
• Preparexa08D reportsxa0for customers, including root cause analysis and corrective actions, and deliver them on time.
• Execute the corrective actions documented in 8D reports to ensure committed actions arexa0implemented and closed.
• Review and develop suitable and effectivexa0inspection gatesxa0in stamping and plating to strengthen detection and prevent leak-out.
• Take responsibility for ensuring the quality of stamping and plating parts andxa0resolving quality issues encountered in production.
• Perform process line audits toxa0assess product and process quality.
• Drive improvements forxa0customer complaints and internal quality issues, including participation in quality improvement projects.
• Drivexa0QAP reduction.
• Conduct dailyxa0MRBxa0activities for material disposition.
• Performxa0daily process line audits.
• Participate inxa03rd-party certification body auditsxa0andxa0customer audits.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bacheloru2019s degree in axa0Science or Engineeringxa0discipline.
• Minimumxa03 years of experiencexa0as a Quality Engineer.
• Ability to performxa0engineering analysesxa0and drive to thexa0root causexa0of processing problems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability toxa0manage multiple projectsxa0to specific timelines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, including written communication, one-on-one discussions, and group meetings (with interpersonal skills sufficient to guide less experienced engineers).

What Will Put You Ahead

• Experience as axa0Manufacturing Quality Engineer.
• Minimumxa05 years of experiencexa0as a Quality Engineer in a related field/area.
• Familiarity withxa0database development, SPC software, and design of experiments (DOE).
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Beltxa0certification.
