Job Opportunity: Marine Team Lead NDT UTTG Hull Gauging

Job Summary
Energy Workforce Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Marine Team Lead to oversee Ultrasonic Thickness Testing Gauging (UTTG) operations for marine hull inspections. The role involves leading a skilled team, ensuring compliance with classification society requirements, and delivering accurate, high-quality reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team performing Ultrasonic Thickness Testing Gauging (UTTG) on marine hulls in line with class survey requirements.
- Prepare and compile reports in accordance with ship classification society rules and regulations (e.g. ABS, DNV, BV, NK, SCM, RINA).
- Collaborate closely with the Project Engineer to understand project scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Ensure all inspections are performed safely and meet technical standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and class surveyors to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in NDT UTTG for marine hull inspections.
- Strong knowledge of class survey processes, inspection techniques, and reporting standards.
- Ability to prepare and compile reports that meet classification society requirements.
- Valid and relevant NDT certifications.
- Previous team leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
