Job Summary
- Market Access Manager will be responsible to execute the access strategy, ensuring the operational implementation of initiatives.
- The role holder will focus on building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, supporting the development of collaborative partnerships, and delivering value-driven solutions that align with payor needs and contribute to the company's growth and market consolidation
Roles & Responsibilities
- Stakeholder planning and strategic engagement activities across the targeted stakeholders including Health Minister, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation (MOSTI), Secretary General of Health, Director General of Health, Deputy Secretary General, MOH Finance Division to enhance company's leadership in industry related engagement with government
- Work closely with the identified think-tank to directly work on improving government policy and opportunity to promote important ideas indirectly
- Development and maintenance of tenders, LPO, and Lampiran Q, as well as strong working relationships with purchasers and decision makers at MOH, MOE and MOD.
- Manage the development of tendering strategies across Malaysia, Brunei and coordinate interactions and any consequent commercial negotiations with but not limited to Tender Authority and Committee members.
- Management of bumi agents, written contracts, necessary documentations & processes required to ensure compliance
- Regular coordination with sales, marketing, supply, and logistics for bidding and monitoring of progress
- Oversee Price Governance of current product portfolio
- Manage pricing approval process
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Attributes
Educational qualification: Bachelor's / Master's degree in Science or Marketing or Business
Minimum work experience:
- Minimum 5 years of stint in Market Access / Portfolio / Business Development role and/or in a management consulting role with exposure to market access & growth strategy in the pharma sector is preferred.
- Exposure to medical regulations is preferred.
