Here Is What The Job Entails
In the role as Market Product Manager for APAC, your job will be to bridge, as a single point of contact, the local sales organization with our global team in Denmark to support growth across Malaysia, Singapore, Japan & India. We also are experiencing strong traction in the Philippines, Indonesia, New Zealand and Australia, and we are looking to expand our presence in the region, making this role a key driver of our APAC strategy.
A typical week might include:
- Supporting a strategic tender together with the Sales and BID team
- Joining a customer meeting to understand new market needs
- Discussing product strategy with global product managers in Denmark
- Analyzing market trends and competitor positioning
- Preparing training sessions for our APAC sales teams
You will experience the freedom to act and leave your mark on how we position Kamstrup solutions in APAC. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence market development and contribute to future product strategies in a rapidly growing region. You will play a central role in unlocking its growth potential. You will gain deep insight into water utility solutions, work closely with global product managers, local sales team, and be part of implementing our new Water BU strategy.

With direct reference to our Head of Market Product Management for EMEA & APAC, you will become a part of Market Product Managers located in Denmark, Sweden, Germany & France. Together we ease the collaboration between local sales organizations and our global team in the Water Product Management Department located in Denmark. In the team we work closely together across countries and believe the best ideas come from open discussions, curiosity, and collaboration. You will be working with experienced product managers who enjoy sharing knowledge and supporting each other.

We are looking for a Market Product Manager with a curious mindset and a determination for achieving the best results, ensuring customer satisfaction and supporting our sales growth objectives.
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
- Bring experience from product management, business development or a commercially oriented technical role
- Have strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market and customer insights into clear recommendations
- Communicate confidently and build trust across cultures, functions, and markets
- Are proactive and thrive in a role with high autonomy and international collaboration
As we are an international organization, it is important that you are fluent in English. Japanese language skills is considered an advantage.
