Introduction

To support our continued growth in APAC, we are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This role will report into the Team Leader in the local office.

The Role

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is a highly experienced individual contributor responsible for owning and delivering highcomplexity online market research projects end to end.

This role is suited for someone with at least 4 years of market research project management experience, who has deep knowledge of delivery processes and platforms, is trusted to run complex projects independently, and can offer practical guidance to junior team members when needed, while remaining primarily focused on their own project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Ownership & HighComplexity Delivery

• Own and lead endtoend delivery of highcomplexity and multimarket online market research projects, from setup through final delivery
• Independently manage advanced project requirements, timelines, dependencies, and risks
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to agreed quality and service standards
• Anticipate potential delivery risks early and implement preventive measures minimize disruption
• Troubleshoot complex delivery challenges by identifying root causes and implementing practical, timely solutions

Platform, Process & Quality Excellence

• Demonstrate strong expertise in internal platforms, tools, and delivery processes
• Execute projects in line with Toluna's operational standards, best practices, and quality frameworks to ensure efficient and reliable delivery
• Perform quality checks on project setups, data, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Ensure projects meet agreed specifications, internal quality standards, and service expectations

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Confidently manage client communication for complex projects, including scope clarification, timeline alignment, and issue resolution
• Build trust with clients through clear, proactive, and solutionoriented communication
• Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Research, Programming, Fieldwork, Data Processing) to ensure seamless execution of complex projects

Support to Team Leader

• Support the Team Leader by sharing insights on delivery risks, complex project challenges, and process gaps
• Act as a trusted senior delivery partner to help ensure smooth daytoday operations
• Provide coverage support when required, while remaining focused on project delivery responsibilities

About You

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 4 years experience in market research operations, project coordination, or project management
• Strong background in online quantitative market research
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in parallel.
• Strong problemsolving ability and sound delivery judgment
• Confident communicator with clients and internal stakeholders
• Comfortable providing guidance to juniors while remaining an individual contributor
• Highly motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of other statistical software (SPSS, Q) and survey programming platforms (Confirmit) is a plus.
