JOB DESCRIPTION:
Roles and Responsibilities for Sales Incentive Analyst include but are not limited to:
1.Regional Split
- Perform daily split requests in the DSS system to ensure billing revenue is correctly allocated to the FSE/Region in accordance with the assigned annual sales plan.
- Perform monthly reconciliation to ensure the revenue tallies across various sources.
- Complete the monthly close of the regional split cycle.
2.Design Win Revenue (DWR) Calculation Process
- Perform activities on a quarterly basis.
- When Altera DWR results are available, carry out DWR calculations according to the required setup.
- Ensure DWR incentives are correctly paid based on the assignment and results.
3.New Hire, Transfer-in/Transfer-out, Termination, LOA
- Track weekly HR and Workday reports to identify new hires, transfers in/out, terminations, and LOA cases.
- Ensure new hire incentive plans are set up correctly in the system.
- Calculate incentive payments for transfer-in/transfer-out, termination, and LOA cases.
4.Pay Validation
- Perform monthly pay validation to ensure incentive payout elements are accurate.
- Incorporate new hires, transfers, terminations, and LOA into incentive payouts to avoid overpayment or underpayment.
- After validation, prepare the payroll file, place it in the respective folder, and inform the payroll department.
5.External Incentive
- Prepare external representative incentives on a monthly/quarterly basis.
- Submit external representative incentives to the Geo Lead for review and approval.
- Complete the required forms for each external representative payment and submit them to the Accounts Payable team.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
The following outlines the key skills, qualifications, and experience required to perform effectively in this role:
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in sales compensation administration or a related area.
- Knowledge of incentive plan structures (quotas, accelerators, pay mix, on-target earnings, excellence, pay-for-performance) and related tools is an added advantage.
- Advanced Excel skills, including model building, use of advanced formulas and arrays, pivot tables, and data manipulation.
- Customer service–oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization to solve problems.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools (such as Excel), and good communication skills are essential.
