The Marketing Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that enhance brand awareness, promote healthcare services, and engage both patients and healthcare professionals. The role requires a strong understanding of healthcare regulations, patient confidentiality, and evolving industry trends, along with excellent communication, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities.
Marketing Operation
- Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies tailored to the healthcare industry, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns to promote healthcare services, medical specialties, and wellness programs across various channels, including digital platforms, print media, and community outreach.
- Develop strategies to enhance patient engagement and satisfaction through targeted communication initiatives, patient education programs, and feedback mechanisms.
- Organize and participate in community events, health fairs, and seminars to raise awareness about healthcare services, preventive care, and wellness initiatives.
- Managing communications spending and working with vendors and agencies to create and/or localize communications and marketing activities and develop supporting assets.
Content Management & Digital Marketing
- Oversee the creation and distribution of engaging and informative content, including social media updates, patient testimonials, and educational materials, adhering to healthcare privacy regulations and medicine advertisements board.
- Maintain brand consistency and integrity across all communication channels and marketing materials, while adhering to healthcare industry standards and guidelines.
- Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to optimize online presence, improve search engine visibility, and engage with patients through social media, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns.
- Implementing online marketing activities including social media, SEO/SEM, demand generation and lead generation.
Data Analysis
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), patient feedback, and market trends to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
Others
- To assist in the development, refinement and to execute business and marketing plans for the hospital.
- Assist or lead and execute any special tasks assigned by Management through Senior Manager, Commercial Development.
Qualifications & Other Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare marketing, public relations, or related roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Understanding of healthcare industry trends, patient demographics, and healthcare delivery models.
- Proficiency in Mandarin will be added as advantage.
- Leadership and project management skills, with the ability to and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex healthcare information in a clear and accessible manner.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms, including Google Analytics, social media management tools, and email marketing platforms.
- Good in time management.
