Job Description

Overview:

Our Client, an software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform focused on AI omnichannel conversational commerce and customer engagement and they are looking for a Senior Content Manager to lead content strategy. This mid-senior role mixes hands-on writing with leadership, overseeing local writers, agencies, and freelancers to produce content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To generate inbound leads by developing and implement comprehensive content strategies focused on long-form SEO, product education and solution-based content that aligns with the company's marketing objectives
  • Create content as an individual contributor and also be the editor for various written content with different purposes, from branding to education, including blog posts, press releases, occasional whitepapers, case studies, and company LinkedIn content.
  • Be a reliable Project Manager to manage agency, freelance writers, and collaborate with SEO and product marketing teams to ensure high-quality output and professional growth by owning the content calendar and pillar.
  • Lead a team by providing necessary training and coaching to the team of local writers, agency, and freelancers, and the wider marketing team as well.
  • Collaborate and work closely with the head of SEO, product marketing teams, and other stakeholders such as sales and the customer success team to create cohesive messages
  • Optimize content for search engines and analyze performance metrics to refine strategies and improve engagement and conversion i.e. MQLs.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors and audience needs
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all content, maintaining alignment with overall writing brand guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a SaaS or tech-driven environment.
  • Strong long-form writing background covering product, SEO, and B2B software topics
  • SaaS experience is a must
  • Be result-driven and take ownership of funnel numbers such as MQLs, SQLs.
  • Regional experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of AIO, SEO, content marketing, and content analytics tools such as GA4, Clarity, and SemRush.
  • HubSpot CRM knowledge and B2B Social media marketing are a strong plus.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to coordinate between various teams to drive cross-functional initiatives
  • Fluency in written English and Chinese
