Senior Marketing & Events Executive

WFH | Full-Time (KL & Selangor)

(Occasional travel within Malaysia or to Singapore for shoots/events)

Position Overview

The Senior Marketing & Events Executive is responsible for leading the execution of marketing campaigns and events for two core brands within the group:

1) IT (cybersecurity consulting)

2) K-beauty aesthetic skincare brand (Malaysia & Hong Kong)

This role focuses on hands-on delivery, execution excellence, team management, and ensuring marketing activities are implemented smoothly, on time, and in line with approved direction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Campaign Execution

• Own and manage marketing execution for two assigned brands:

1) IT / cybersecurity consulting brand

2) K-beauty aesthetic skincare brand (Malaysia & Hong Kong)

• Execute marketing initiatives in line with approved direction
• Translate marketing direction into clear execution plans, timelines, and task lists
• Ensure consistency of messaging and execution across channels
• Monitor campaign progress and resolve execution issues early

2. Event Planning & Management

• Plan and manage all marketing-related events, including:

>> Monthly workshops

>> Exhibitions, conferences, and appreciation dinners

• Coordinate venues, vendors, speakers, KOLs, agencies, and internal teams
• Manage event timelines, run-of-show, and on-site execution
• Conduct post-event reviews and documentation

3. Agency, Vendor & Partner Coordination

• Coordinate and manage external agencies and partners, including:

>> KOL / influencer agencies

>> SEO agency

>> Event vendors and suppliers

• Prepare briefs, review deliverables, and follow up on execution
• Shortlist and recommend KOLs based on campaign fit
• Escalate key recommendations and issues to the Founder when required

4. Content & Channel Oversight

• Oversee content execution for assigned brands
• Work closely with:

>> Marketing & Content Executive (social media, captions, posting)

>> Media Manager (design, photo/video shoots)

• Ensure content supports campaigns, events, and business objectives

5. Team Coordination & Leadership

• Act as the day-to-day execution lead for:

>> Marketing & Content Executive

>> Media Manager

>> Marketing Operations & Admin Executive

• Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration
• Be the first escalation point for execution-related matters

6. Reporting & Communication

• Provide regular execution updates to the Founder / CEO
• Highlight risks, delays, or resource needs early
• Maintain clear documentation for campaigns, events, vendors, and agencies

Requirements

-35 years experience in marketing, events, or campaign execution

-Strong hands-on experience managing events end-to-end

-Comfortable coordinating agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders

-Able to manage multiple projects across two core brands

-Structured, organised, and execution-focused

-Confident communicator with emerging leadership ability

-Experience in B2B, professional services, or beauty is a plus
