Job Description

AMOREPACIFIC MALAYSIA is looking for an adaptable Marketing Executive to handle the trade marketing and CRM activities for one of our brands powered by art and heritage.

This position holds significant importance in developing and implementing below-the-line (BTL) marketing strategies. Your primary objectives will focus on driving growth, enhancing customer engagement, and maximizing brand exposure in the market. Hence, this role requires a combination of strategic thinking, creative flair, and analytical skills to achieve measurable results and positively impact our business.

You will play an important role, such as:

Trade Marketing

  • Effectively planning and timely execution of all below-the-line (BTL) marketing activities and campaigns including promotions, events, outposts, and workshops.
  • Proactively contribute innovative marketing ideas to drive impactful campaigns.
  • Collaborate with retail partners and 3rd parties to develop and implement effective marketing communication and strategies, aiming to achieve sales objectives and maximize brand exposure.
  • Liaise closely with internal creative team and agencies to create and coordinate marketing collaterals and promotional materials for campaigns.
  • Identify and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer insights for optimized trade marketing.
  • Responsible for managing trade marketing budgets for cost-effectiveness and maximum ROI.
  • Prepare monthly reports and stay updated on market trends.

CRM

  • Assist in managing and growing new/existing customer database through customer recruitment, retention and activation campaigns.
  • Responsible for monthly CRM direct communications with customers via SMS, email blast and direct mailer.
  • Plan and execute targeted email campaigns, loyalty programs, and personalized communications.
  • Explore collaboration with external merchants and strategic partners to enhance membership benefits and drive growth.
  • Collate, generate and analyse member information for membership program planning and development.
  • Work with internal creative team and agencies to develop all CRM program/campaign-related communication materials.
  • Generate and analyse monthly CRM reports to track customer behaviour and evaluate campaign effectiveness.

To be successful in this role, you would need to have:

  • Bachelor Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Marketing, Business Studies/Management or Mass Communications
  • Preferably with 2-3 years of relevant experience, ideally in the retail industry, and possess an excellent understanding of trade marketing concepts and CRM.
  • Candidates with experience or exposure in the retail industry or a similar capacity, particularly in FMCG or Beauty industries, will have an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with a creative flair for content writing.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • A passion for innovative campaigns, showcasing creative thinking.
  • Self-motivated & proactive; able to work independently & at the same time a team player.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
