Job Description

The Marketing Executive supports the Manager of Marketing, in executing integrated marketing campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities across MHTC's international and domestic markets. The role plays a key part in driving Malaysia's healthcare tourism agenda, contributing to MHTC's mission of positioning Malaysia as the premier destination for quality, affordable healthcare. The Executive works closely with hospitals, embassies, KOLs, and media partners to ensure consistent brand messaging, timely content delivery, and accurate documentation of all marketing activations.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign & Activation Support - coordinating activations across MHTC's international and local markets, managing marketing campaign logistics, overseeing partnerships, coordinating FAM visits and roadshows, and monitoring vendor deliverables.

  • Content Creation & Digital Communications - Compile and provide key points, event highlights, and factual talking points on market activations to the Communications team to support the development of press releases, social media posts, and digital content ensuring field-level accuracy and context are captured for content production purposes.

  • Stakeholder Coordination & Documentation - following up with hospitals, embassies, and agencies; preparing governance forms, SOPs, and briefing decks; managing SharePoint files; and supporting international patient journey facilitation.

  • Reporting & Performance Tracking - preparing updates to VP Marketing; managing budget records and vendor invoices; and supporting year-end appraisal documentation.

  • Market Research & Intelligence - Conduct regular desk research and landscape analysis on assigned markets covering healthcare-seeking behaviours, demographic profiles, treatment preferences, competitive landscape, and key referral channels.

  • To undertake any other duties as directed by the Immediate Supervisor and Management as and when required.

Requirements

  • At least hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, Business Administration, or any related field.
  • Has relevant experience in marketing communications, public relations, or a related field. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong command of English and Malay.
  • Experience with SharePoint or project management platforms is an added advantage; basic photography or videography skills for event documentation; knowledge of healthcare tourism or government agency context is a plus.
