We are looking for a Marketing Intern who wants hands-on experience in event marketing, digital campaigns, social media and content creation.

Role Description

As a Marketing Intern, you will work closely with our marketing and events team to promote upcoming conferences and programmes.

This is a hands-on internship where you will be involved in real campaigns, content creation and event promotion, rather than just administrative work.

The role is on-site at Publika, Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur.

Key Responsibilities

- Support social media content planning and creation

- Assist with marketing campaigns for conferences, summits and other events

- Help prepare simple marketing materials using Canva or similar tools

- Support email marketing and digital promotional campaigns

- Conduct market, industry and audience research

- Assist with maintaining and updating marketing databases

- Track basic campaign performance and engagement

- Help coordinate speaker, delegate and event-related marketing communications

- Support on-site marketing activities during events

- Assist with other marketing projects as required

What We're Looking For

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media or a related field

- Strong interest in marketing, social media and the events industry

- Good written and verbal communication skills in English

- Creative and detail-oriented

- Basic Canva or graphic design skills are an advantage

- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms

- Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

- Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

- Proactive, responsible and willing to learn

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment

Internship Details

Employment Type: Internship

Work Arrangement: On-site

Location: Publika,Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur

Internship Allowance: RM 800 per month

Duration: 3 to 6 months
