About the Job

Leading pharmaceutical company and a top player in its field, seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to assume full responsibility for the Primary Market. This pivotal role requires deep strategic insight to maximize brand potential, drive revenue growth, and ensure market leadership within this critical therapeutic area.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Strategic & Financial Ownership: Drive the overarching brand and TA strategy. Hold accountability for brand revenue, key objectives, and financial performance (KPIs), ensuring optimal and compliant utilization of the Annual Promotional (A&P) budget.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategy: Conduct rigorous market analysis and leverage data to pinpoint key segment drivers, growth vectors, and competitive risks, translating these insights into highly effective brand positioning and commercial strategies.
  • Marketing Leadership & Execution: Direct the marketing team in the creation, deployment, and evaluation of integrated marketing programs and materials, implementing necessary tactical pivots to meet aggressive business objectives.
  • People Leadership & Talent: Coach, mentor, and foster the professional development of Brand Managers, actively leading the process of talent acquisition, retention, and performance management to build a high-performing team.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with internal cross-functional partners (e.g., Sales, Medical, Market Access) and external Key External Experts (KEEs) to ensure alignment, successful plan execution, and strategic advocacy development.
  • Compliance & Governance: Ensure all commercial activities are executed in strict adherence to industry codes, local regulations, and the company's high standards of ethics and integrity, maintaining full accountability for compliant business practices.
  • Business Reporting: Lead strategic reviews and provide clear, timely, and data-backed business updates on the TA's performance to executive management.

What You'll Bring (Requirements)

  • Education: A strong academic foundation in Science and/or Marketing/Commerce, with an MBA or equivalent advanced degree from a top university highly desirable.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience within the Pharmaceutical industry is essential.
  • Commercial Expertise: Demonstrable, broad understanding of the commercial, operational, and strategic dynamics of the pharmaceutical business.
  • Leadership: Proven track record in leading, managing, and coaching a team of marketing professionals, supported by excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
