Job responsibilities
· Generate and follow up sales leads
· Develop own leads within designated areas and manage existing accounts for LCL and FCL forwarder business; grow shipments across trade lanes.
· Conduct regular sales visits and identify potential customers
· Prepare quotations and source competitive ocean/air freight rates from liners, NVOCCs and vendors; liaise with global offices for import/destination rates.
· Perform market and competitor research; prepare opportunity leads and weekly management/sales meeting summaries.
· Handle customer enquiries, quotations, and complaints; convert opportunities into new business.
· Participate in company trainings, seminars, roadshows and exhibitions to enhance logistics knowledge and business development.
· Prepare company monthly profit & loss summary and submit timely sales reports to GM/Director; attend monthly sales meetings and performance reviews.
