Role Description The Marketing and Social Media Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Damansara Heights. Kuala Lumpur. This position involves supporting daily social media management, including content planning, posting, and monitoring engagement across multiple platforms. The intern will assist in executing marketing campaigns, conducting market research, tracking performance metrics, and preparing simple reports. Responsibilities also include interacting with followers and communities online, supporting basic sales and promotional activities, and collaborating with the team to brainstorm creative ideas to increase brand awareness. The intern may also help coordinate events or record-related announcements and ensure consistent messaging aligned with ASEAN Records brand and mission.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills for effective interaction with audiences and stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess Market Research and Marketing Strategy skills to support campaign planning and performance analysis.
- Candidates should possess basic Sales and Marketing skills to assist in promotional activities and partnership outreach.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn) and content creation tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.
- Ongoing or completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Business, Media, or a related field are an advantage.
- Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of additional ASEAN languages is a plus.
