As a Marketing Specialist (APAC) in Malaysia, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to powering the world's payments ecosystem!

This purpose of this Marketing Specialist (APAC)is:

The Marketing Specialist is a hands-on B2B marketing professional who plans and independently executes digital campaigns, demand generation, and events across Asia Pacific (APAC). This independent individual contributor role owns projects end-to-end, supports the Regional Marketing Director and partners with cross-functional and global stakeholders, and applies marketing technology and AI tools to drive pipeline, brand visibility, and measurable ROI with minimal day-to-day supervision.

A typical day at ACI for a Marketing Specialist (APAC)is:

Digital Campaigns & Demand Generation

  • Plan and execute multi-channel digital campaigns and ABM/intent-driven programs to generate and nurture pipelines across the buyer journey
  • Manage regional B2B social media, including LinkedIn organic content and paid campaigns
  • Monitor campaign performance via marketing automation and CRM reporting, applying AI tools to improve efficiency and output quality

Event Management

  • Plan and execute customer events, conferences, and virtual/hybrid engagements end-to-end, including vendor, venue, budget, and onsite logistics
  • Define and track event success metrics (attendance, engagement, pipeline contribution, ROI)

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Sales, Solution Consulting, Product, and Communications to align messaging, campaigns, and account targeting across global, regional, and local teams
  • Support and manage stakeholder briefings and post-campaign/event reviews for owned projects

Content & Communications

  • Develop and localise campaigns, events, nurture content and collateral, ensuring brand and messaging consistency across all touchpoints
  • Draft and edit regional marketing communications, including emails, invitations, and digital/social content

Performance Tracking & Insights

  • Track and report on key marketing KPIs (leads, engagement, pipeline, ROI) using dashboards, analysing performance to surface insights and recommend optimisations
  • Maintain accurate, audit-ready reporting to support post-program analysis

Budget & Vendor Management

  • Manage program budgets and vendor setup to ensure cost efficiency and adherence to guidelines
  • Process invoices, contracts, and expenses in a timely manner

Operational Excellence

  • Independently manage multiple concurrent marketing projects end-to-end, exercising sound judgment on prioritization, risk, and escalation
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed to succeed in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, plus 1–4 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in technology, SaaS, or financial services
  • Proven ability to independently plan and execute marketing campaigns, events, or programs with minimal oversight
  • Hands-on experience with a marketing automation platform (HubSpot preferred), CRM (Salesforce), and B2B social media marketing (LinkedIn organic and Campaign Manager)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organized, detail-oriented, and a proactive self-starter with sound business judgment

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for this role:

  • Experience with ABM or intent-data platforms (e.g., Demandbase, 6sense) and practical use of AI tools for content, personalisation, or campaign optimisation
  • Marketing automation or CRM certification (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and experience with digital campaign analytics and reporting tools
  • Experience working in a regional (APAC) or global matrix organisation, ideally within financial services, payments, or technology
  • Proficiency in an additional Asian language (e.g., Mandarin Chinese or Japanese) is a plus.
