About the role
As the Marketing Operations Manager (Lifecycle & MarTech), you will play a strategic role within Admiral Digital and its affiliate companies, supporting both global and local accounts while working closely with the Performance Marketing, UI/UX, Development and Lifecycle Marketing teams.
You are a technically strong marketing operator who understands both data infrastructure and customer lifecycle strategy. You are able to translate business requirements into scalable marketing technology implementations that power automated, full-funnel customer engagement.
You will act as the technical authority for marketing data integrity, ensuring accurate tracking, seamless platform integrations and data flows that enable high-impact lifecycle campaigns and revenue growth.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement data-driven lifecycle marketing strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Architect and manage marketing data ecosystems, including tracking infrastructure, APIs and automation workflows.
- Implement advanced tracking frameworks using Google Tag Manager, server-side tracking (CAPI) and custom JavaScript solutions.
- Build and execute customer segmentation and marketing automation workflows across email, push notifications and in-app messaging.
- Develop data pipelines and integrations connecting lead generation platforms, CRMs and marketing tools using middleware solutions such as Zapier, Make or n8n.
- Monitor and optimise conversion tracking and campaign performance, ensuring accurate event tracking across advertising platforms.
- Develop client-facing dashboards and reporting using Looker Studio to visualise campaign performance and ROAS.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design and product teams to deliver consistent customer journey experiences.
- Lead marketing automation initiatives while documenting workflows and mentoring junior team members.
To be successful, you will have
- 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, lifecycle marketing or marketing technology implementation.
- Strong experience with Google Tag Manager, tracking implementation and analytics infrastructure.
- Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Klaviyo, Braze, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL logic and marketing data structures.
- Experience building automation workflows using Zapier, Make, n8n or equivalent tools.
- Experience with Looker Studio or other BI tools for dashboard and reporting development.
- Understanding of data privacy compliance including GDPR/CCPA and Consent Management Platform integrations.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear strategies while managing complex projects and stakeholders.
