Role Summary
Responsible for end-to-end supply chain planning and operations in Malaysia, covering order fulfilment, inventory management, S&OP, warehouse operations, and third-party warehouse/toller management. Ensures customer requirements, supply chain KPIs, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead S&OP, demand planning, inventory planning, and order fulfilment to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Manage inventory accuracy, stock levels, surplus and obsolete inventory.
- Manage 3PL and toller performance, including EHS/compliance, costs, quality, audits, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with local requirements covering customs, import/export, chemicals, labelling, DG storage, and waste disposal.
- Drive supply chain performance against KPIs such as OTC, logistics costs, and inventory.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, PSI, and other functions on business objectives, NPI, and special projects.
- Promote safety, compliance, operational excellence, and sustainable supply chain practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in inventory planning, logistics, or distribution chemicals or water treatment experience is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of local chemical-related regulations.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, resourceful, and able to manage priorities effectively.
