Material Engineer-1 year Contract

Job Description & Requirements

• Review the standards/specification requirement to supply the correct and conformed materials to customer requirements.
• Review the incoming material's mill certificates for the conformance of specification, standards and/or our requirement.
• Provide advice/solutions to customer's enquiries during order stage & after sales.
• Review the order acknowledge/confirmation/quotation by vendor in accordance with our PO requirements.
• Monitor the status of revision of specification and/or standards, update, review and analyses the impact of changes to current practice and/or materials of company.
• Identify testing required to fulfil any standards or specification requirements.
• Monitor the incoming materials lot and arrange periodical inspection in accordance with inspection plan.
• Data collection &analysis of materials properties of stocking materials for failure analysis.
• Collect data to support development for AI based review software
• Existing process flow to be reviewed and simplified.

Key Accountabilities

• Review MTR
• Review pre arrival stock report
• Arrange Incoming material testing for SRS QA35
• Alien material - material number input to purchase department.
• Conflict mineral (CMRT) report submit to customer upon request.
• Review & File MTR/Test report/HT reports.
• Annual/ ad hock review of all International standards
• Annual/ad hock review of customer specifications.
• Maintain excel data for review
• Review MTR to advice on Sales inquiry every heat numbers.
• Review MTR to advice during Contract review after PO

Experience.

• Candidates with Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Material Science are required for the role.
• Willing to work in fast pace environment.
• Entry level candidates are welcome to apply
• SAP knowledge will be advantage
• Able to start work immediate will be advantage
