The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for developing and implementing plans to ensure the efficient and effective flow of goods and materials through the supply chain. This includes forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers and other stakeholders. Supply Chain Planners play a vital role in helping companies meet their customer demand and achieve their business goals. Roles & Responsibilities:
Forecast demand for products & materials
Develop and implement inventory management plans
Managing product lines, regions independently and successfully
Leads projects within department independently and successfully
Effectively influencing others without authority
Facilitate resolution of opposing ideas or objectives
Effectively build and manage strategic working relationships
Qualification & Competencies:
BS/BSE level degree in business, supply chain, or related discipline
Preferred 1 year experience and/or previous relevant working experience through internships.
Competence in manufacturing processes
Basic Project Management skills
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and processes as it relates to the supply chain.
Good computer skills related to ERP technologies.
Develops expertise in the required disciplines (i.e. Excel, Oracle, Agile, APS, Rapid Response (RR), Kinaxis, etc.)
Ability to work positively with the supply base and potentially multiple organizations internally to NI to drive collaborative supply chain solutions.
Demonstrated problem solving, ability to learn new technologies and processes as it relates to the supply chain. Good verbal and written communication skills.
Creates a continuous learning and developing environment to get the most efficient and effective total work systems.
