Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end materials management function, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational priorities to support efficient, reliable, and cost-effective supply chain performance.
  • Drive the development and execution of sourcing frameworks, supplier strategies, and supply chain initiatives that enhance competitiveness and operational resilience.
  • Oversee procurement planning, production material scheduling, inventory optimization, and quality compliance to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Champion standardized processes, governance models, and performance indicators to enhance visibility, accountability, and continuous improvement across materials operations.
  • Establish and maintain strategic supplier partnerships across domestic and international markets to ensure supply continuity, risk mitigation, and optimal inventory levels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, manufacturing, and global supply stakeholders to align material planning with financial targets and business forecasts.
  • Partner with global commodity and supply chain leaders to evaluate sourcing models, supplier capacity, risk exposure, and long-term sustainability strategies.
  • Provide leadership to the materials organization through talent development, succession planning, performance management, and capability building.
  • Engage with senior leadership and external stakeholders on strategic supply matters, including negotiations and commercial discussions where required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience (approximately 12+ years) in materials management, procurement, or supply chain leadership roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain optimization, cost management strategies, localization initiatives, and supplier negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a global, matrixed organization, collaborating across procurement and manufacturing sites.
  • Formal training or certification in Lean, continuous improvement, or advanced supply chain methodologies is advantageous.
  • Proven leadership capability with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational alignment.
