Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Mathematics Tutor located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Mathematics Tutor will conduct engaging lessons to help students improve their understanding of mathematical concepts in areas such as algebra and foundational mathematics. The tutor will teach using both traditional and innovative methods, with a focus on facilitating active learning and applying the Singapore Math methodology. Responsibilities include conducting lessons, evaluating students progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their preparation for competitive exams and academic achievements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts.
• Skills in Tutoring with prior experience in primary level students.
• Excellent Communication skills to engage and motivate students effectively.
• Passion for teaching and assisting students in achieving academic goals.
• Scored A for any Mathematics subjects in SPM/O-level/A-level/IGCSE etc.
• Experience with the Singapore Math methodology or similar pedagogies is a plus.
• Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of students with diverse learning preferences.
