About the Job

As the Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be collaborating with a team of young and dynamic engineers who are always eager to take on challenges. Their mission is to design, build, and deliver innovative technical and business solutions that cater to the specific needs of our semiconductor and PCB industry customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and layout of contactor and test interface solutions, ensuring adherence to engineering procedures and specifications.
  • Oversee the manufacturing, testing, and application processes, providing supervision and guidance to the team.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, sales, and customer service engineers, handling inquiries and communications with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including detailed part drawings according to DIN standards, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials.
  • Monitor and contribute to the development of contactors and any required modifications, ensuring they meet customer preferences and requirements.
  • Continuously refine and advance contactor designs to accommodate changing customer needs and industry trends.
  • Offer expert services to contactor users, assisting them with test applications and technology-related queries.
  • Participate actively in all project phases, from requirement definition and design to research, fabrication, testing/integration, customer interactions, safety considerations, and cost-effectiveness analysis for contactor manufacturing.
  • Perform skilled modifications on fabricated parts based on redlined drawings or verbal instructions.
  • Create Engineering Change Orders and update Bills of Materials as needed to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Prioritize and ensure on-time availability of contactor designs for both manufacturing and customer delivery.
  • Provide support to the manufacturing floor as required, collaborating with the production team to resolve issues and streamline processes.
  • Fulfill any other duties or responsibilities as requested by the company.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or any equivalent Engineering discipline.
  • Experience: Two years in machine design for automation equipment/robotics and/or pneumatic systems or two years experience with mechanical and pneumatic systems.
  • Skills/Technical Requirements: Advanced knowledge of latest release of SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Working knowledge of DIN Standards, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Assembly Tolerance Stack Up Analysis, ERP system and Microsoft Office Software (PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
  • Have strong interest and passion in design. Self motivated, creative, innovative, and perspective.
  • Fast learner with ability to independently anticipate, prioritize and manage multiple priorities and to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
  • A team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work and communicate effectively with multinational and multicultural team members for a common consensus.
