About the Role We are a leading multinational general contracting firm seeking a highly capable M&E Manager to spearhead our upcoming projects. You will initially be stationed in Indonesia, driving critical infrastructure developments, with clear pathways to transition into international assignments across our global portfolio. This role demands a self-starter who excels in high-stakes environments, specifically within the data center sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all Mechanical and Electrical aspects of complex, large-scale construction projects, with a primary focus on mission-critical Data Centers.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact, expertly managing relationships and communications with high-profile clients, external consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive project delivery from inception to handover, ensuring strict adherence to international safety, quality, and engineering standards.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, making critical engineering and management decisions with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems within the broader general contracting framework.
- Anticipate project bottlenecks, proactively mitigating risks related to budget, schedule, and technical compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive M&E engineering experience for the Manager level (Note: Candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience may be considered for a Senior M&E Engineer capacity).
- Specialization: Demonstrated, hands-on experience in the construction and delivery of Data Centers is strictly required.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of successfully handling clients and consultants, with strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
- Autonomy: Exceptional ability to work independently, take ownership of project outcomes, and drive results without micromanagement.
