As a Pre-Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping customer decisions by owning the technical front of the sales cycleidentifying requirements, aligning them with our solutions, and demonstrating how our offerings deliver real value. You will translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling explanations that build confidence, address customer needs, and ultimately inspire them to choose our solutions and services.
The Pre-Sales Specialist will be responsible for designing Co-location technical solutions for both existing and potential customers, leveraging solid Data Centre knowledge and ideally experience in AutoCAD drawings and M&E design. This role requires deep understanding of Data Centre topologies and technologies, along with proven experience supporting sales teams in a technical environment. Success in this position hinges on the ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
The Work Life
- Able to handle and produce technical proposal and tender related submission.
- Able to understand data center facilities setup, and identify opportunities for Data Centre business
- Understand customers need and able to provide solutions, propose & design rack/space layout to suit customer requirement.
- Able to maintain good working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Familiar with the Malaysia Data Centre market.
- Able to develop a Data Centre ecosystem to meet customer needs.
- Technical proposal writing for RFI/RFQ/RFP/Presentation to be provided to customers
- Build and maintain good rapport and relationship with clients
- Able to present technical solution, and understand customer technical pain point and provide adequate solutions.
All You Need
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
- Possess minimum 2 years M&E experience in Data Centre facilities with strong sensibility for Data Centre technology
- At least elementary level in AutoCad drawing skill
- Understanding Data Centre M&E Single Line Diagram, redundancy topology, Data Centre Standard, TIA 942, Uptime Institute and Tier Classification
- Possesses a can-do spirit, strong self-motivation, good teamwork skills, high adversity quotient, and the ability to adapt well to challenges and pressures.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities suited for multi-cultural organizations.
