Mechanical Supervisor, Kenering

1. Supervise and monitor mechanical installation, maintenance, repair and rectification works at the hydroelectric project site in accordance with approved specifications and project requirements.
2. Oversee the inspection and condition assessment of mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring defects and required corrective actions are properly addressed.
3. Coordinate daily site activities with contractors, engineers, consultants and project teams to ensure works are carried out safely and according to schedule.
4. Monitor the quality and progress of mechanical works, identify technical issues or deviations and ensure timely corrective actions.
5. Prepare and maintain site records, inspection reports, progress updates and work completion documentation.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in mechanical works and site supervision, preferably within hydroelectric, power generation, plant, infrastructure or similar projects.
3. Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, maintenance, installation, inspection and troubleshooting, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
4. Strong site supervision, contractor coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to monitor work quality and progress.
5. Willing to be based at the project site in Kenering, Gerik, Perak, and work according to project and operational requirements.
