Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform installation and commissioning to ensure the safe operation of devices, adhering to maintenance and inspection protocols.
- Diagnose and repair all designated products, including preventive maintenance, installations, and upgrades, following specific training, manuals, and Carl Zeiss guidelines.
- Ensure proper calibration and testing during installation, preventive maintenance, or repair of equipment malfunctions.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on medical devices to ensure they operate efficiently and safely.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support through Zeiss Smart Service, including troubleshooting and log file analysis.
- Maintain detailed service reports and documentation within the Service CRM for all serviced equipment.
- Offer first-level training to biomedical staff or local nurses on the proper operation and care of medical devices.
- Provide technical software support for ZEISS software products (FORUM and Zeiss Smart Services), including interfaces with third-party software or devices.
- Support revenue growth by promoting and retaining Optime service contract agreements.
- Ensure all equipment complies with regulatory standards and safety guidelines (MDA & GDPMD).
Experience:
At least 3 to 5 years of experience of hand-on experience in maintaining and repairing medical equipment, with a focus on advanced and high-end devices.
