MEP Engineer

• Review MEP design drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Coordinate with design team to resolve technical issues.
• Manage and supervise MEP subcontractors.
• Ensure safety compliance for all MEP activities.
• Conduct site inspections to maintain quality.
• Monitor MEP work progress and report regularly.
• Review subcontractor progress claims.
• Handle variation orders (VO) and documentation.
• Develop and update MEP work schedules.
• Prepare, review, and implement method statements.
• Act as site focal point for all MEP-related issues.
• Resolve on-site technical problems.
• Require strong knowledge in HVAC, electrical, fire protection, plumbing.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
• At least 8 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a strong background in data centre projects or large-scale commercial/industrial projects.
• Proven experience in managing MEP subcontractors, with a strong understanding of safety, quality, and progress management.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, fire protection, and plumbing systems in data centre environments.
• Ability to identify and resolve design discrepancies, technical issues, and conflicts between different systems.
• Experience in reviewing and managing progress claims, variation orders, and project documentation.
• Strong skills in work schedule generation and project progress tracking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other project management and design tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Experience with testing and commissioning of MEP systems is a plus.
