MEP Project Manager (Semiconductor / Construction Industry Experience)

Position: MEP Project Manager

Industry: Cryogenics and industrial equipment manufacturing

Location: Taman Perindustrian Pusat Bandar Puchong, 47150 Puchong, Selangor

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (0800 to 1730)

Employment Type : 12 months contract with PERSOL

Salary: RM15,000 – RM20,000 (based on experience & skills) + Statutory Contributions + Leave Entitlement + Medical Coverage

What You'll Be Leading

• Establish and lead the Project Department, including governance frameworks, SOPs, and project execution standards
• Oversee installation, construction, commissioning, and project delivery activities across multiple regional and international projects
• Lead and mentor a team of Project Engineers, Site Managers, and installation partners
• Manage project portfolios exceeding RM100 million annually
• Drive project profitability, cost control, risk mitigation, and contract administration
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Customer Success, Procurement, and Finance teams
• Ensure compliance with international engineering, safety, and quality standards
• Lead project handovers, commissioning activities, and transition to lifecycle support services
• Champion operational excellence, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or related discipline
• 15-20 years of project management experience within semiconductor environments
• Proven track record managing large-scale construction and infrastructure projects valued above RM100 million
• Experience leading project execution teams across multiple countries in Southeast Asia
• Strong exposure to: Cryogenic Storage Systems, Industrial Gas Infrastructure, Vacuum Jacketed Piping (VJP), Process Plants or Mechanical & Piping Construction
• Expertise in contract management, variation orders (VO), EOT claims, project controls, procurement, and commercial management
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
• Willingness to travel regionally and internationally
