Merchant Sales Executive

As a Merchant Sales Executive at AmBank Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's merchant acquisition efforts in the Kota Kinabalu, Sabah This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and customer-oriented environment, contributing to the growth and success of our merchant services business.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Actively identify and engage with new merchant prospects to expand our merchant network in Butterworth.
• Conduct face-to-face sales meetings with potential merchants to understand their business needs and present tailored merchant services solutions.
• Effectively negotiate and close merchant agreements, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
• Provide ongoing support and maintain strong relationships with our existing merchant base.
• Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies to drive merchant acquisition.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance your sales and product knowledge.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales or merchant-facing role, preferably in the financial services or payment industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with merchants. Fluent in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
• Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with merchant services products and acquirer/payment processor operations.
• A self-motivated and result-oriented individual with a passion for sales and customer success.
