Job Description

Role: Merchant Sales Specialist

Industry: Fintech

Working Duration: 12 months contract

Working Location: 1, First Avenue, Petaling Jaya, 47800, Selangor (Accessible via MRT)

Working Day/Hours: Monday – Friday; 10am – 7pm. 

Salary: Basic up to RM 4000 + Statutory contribution + leave entitlement + medical insurance

Role Overview

As a Merchant Partnership Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and building relationships with F&B merchants, onboarding them with commerce services for F&B. These services include, but are not limited to:

Dine Out Deals

Reservation

Scan to Order

Loyalty as a Service

You will work closely with the Sales Team Leader to execute acquisition strategies and initiatives that align with company's goals.

 

Day-to-Day Activities

Cold Calling & Merchant Onboarding:

Reach out to potential merchants and close deals for the aforementioned services.

Lead Sourcing:

Independently source high-quality F&B leads and maintain a healthy pipeline for all services.

Strategy Execution:

Implement acquisition strategies and initiatives effectively.

Market Awareness:

Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to provide valuable feedback and insights.

Creative Hustling:

Bring energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to your work every day!

 

Must-Have Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in any field.

Language Proficiency:

Fluent in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin/Cantonese is preferred.

Experience:

0–2 years of relevant experience (Previous sales experience is a plus but not mandatory).
