Job Description

Job Summary:**

Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and high-net-worth clients, fostering strong relationships and identifying cross-selling opportunities for United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd's financial products and services.

Job Responsibilities:**

  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential corporate and high-net-worth clients.
  • Proactively identify client needs and provide tailored financial solutions, including loans, deposits, trade finance, wealth management, and other banking products.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets and contribute to the overall business growth of the bank.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis and risk assessments for client proposals, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present credit proposals, engaging with internal stakeholders for approval.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery and prompt resolution of inquiries and issues.
  • Adhere to all regulatory guidelines, bank policies, and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with product specialists and other departments to deliver comprehensive financial solutions.

Job Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in relationship management within the banking or financial services industry, preferably with exposure to corporate or high-net-worth clients.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of financial products and services, including lending, trade finance, and wealth management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid financial licenses or certifications (e.g., FIMM, SC) will be an added advantage.
