Job Overview

Develops and implements country-specific security policies and procedures; manages and trains field security staff.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements

  • Lead and manage daily security operations, including guard force, access control, CCTV, and visitor management.
  • Develop and implement security policies, SOPs, and risk management programs.
  • Ensure compliance with RBA, CTPAT (or equivalent), and Malaysian regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead investigations into incidents, misconduct, and security breaches; provide root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Drive crisis management and emergency response plans (e.g., evacuation, fire safety, business continuity).
  • Manage security vendors and service providers, ensuring performance and cost effectiveness.
  • Secure inbound and outbound logistics, including cargo integrity and supply chain protection.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, HR, EHS, IT, Facilities, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Liaise with local authorities and law enforcement agencies when required.
  • Conduct security awareness training and promote a strong security culture across the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in security management, risk management, or related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Relevant industry training or certifications in corporate security, investigations, or crisis management will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing or multinational company environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
    • Security operations and guard force management
    • Risk assessment and incident investigation
  • Familiarity with RBA, CTPAT (Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism), or supply chain security frameworks is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Willingness to travel, able to support night shift if required.
What Your Background Should Look Like

Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level
