Middleware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide operations support, implementation, and communication for middleware infrastructure
• Install, configure, and upgrade middleware components
• Perform middleware administration for service requests, changes, and reconfiguration
• Troubleshoot incidents with immediate action and resolution
• Plan, communicate, and apply security patches and system hardening
• Support audits and ensure regulatory compliance
• Participate in data center shutdowns and disaster recovery activities
• Maintain middleware inventory, including version tracking and lifecycle status
• Improve internal processes and procedures within the middleware team
• Join crossfunctional meetings requiring middleware expertise
• Evaluate and onboard new middleware solutions
• Create and maintain middleware administration documentation
• Communicate recommendations to stakeholders to ensure system stability
• Identify compliance risks and proactively mitigate them
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and technologies

Skills:

• WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, IIS, Oracle EBS, or similar
• Linux, Solaris, Windows Server, or AIX
• Strong troubleshooting & operational skills
