About The Job

We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Development Manager - Java to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications for telecom platforms.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java technologies, telecom systems, team leadership, and software architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end development, mentor engineers, and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions for next-generation telecom infrastructure and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-performance Java-based telecom applications.
• Manage and mentor development teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring best engineering practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end features, APIs, backend services, and system integrations.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to scalable and robust solution design.
• Work with telecom protocols such as MAP, CAP, Diameter, GTP, etc.
• Ensure adherence to software engineering best practices including CI/CD, automation testing, code reviews, and cloud deployment strategies.
• Drive performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and technical innovation within the team.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects.
  
  

Desired Profile

• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java and enterprise application development.
• Experience in debugging, performance tuning, Java profiling, and garbage collection analysis.
• Good understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.
• Preferable exposure to telecom domain and telecom protocols.
• Experience working on Linux environments.
• Knowledge of databases including RDBMS and in-memory databases such as Redis/Couchbase.
• Ability to understand frameworks and C++ code flows is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Telecom industry experience preferred.
• Experience in scalable backend system development.
• Exposure to cloud-native applications and DevOps practices is a plus.
  
  

Educational Qualification : BE / B. Tech, M/M. Tech or M. Sc. in Computer Science / Electronics Engineering / MCA
