Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in Azure Power BI to lead and manage data-driven projects. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for Azure Power BI implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop detailed project plans.
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Facilitate project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate project performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong expertise in Azure Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and report/dashboard creation.
- Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake).
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and user experience design.
- Knowledge of other BI tools and technologies (e.g., Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data analytics and business intelligence.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
